ABOUT ME:
*I am a 21 year old Personal Trainer
*Going to school for my Science Nutrition degree
*Figure Competitor
have always been a fitness junkie.
When I was younger I played all sorts of sports from dancing to ice hockey. I loved being active and couldn't sit still for a second.
As I got older, I decided to focus more on dance. I danced for my high school for all four years where I held the captain position for two years. Once I graduated from high school, I was lucky enough to receive a scholarship to continue dancing at Davenport University where I danced for three years and held the captain position for two years as well.
Although I had a blast dancing I began to realize I was suffering from what is known as Athletic Anorexia Nervosa. This can be very common in young women, but also very dangerous. I was doing way too much cardio, and not fueling my body with the proper amount of food. It took me awhile to realize what I was doing, but once I did I knew I needed to make a change, and help better myself before it got too far out of hand.
Dance was my life for 18 years, and I never imagined the day would come that I would put dance to rest, but it did.
This year I decided to take a different path in life and realized as much as I love dance, I wanted to do something else for myself. Push myself to my limits and test myself. I decided to start training for my first figure competition and absolutely love the journey so far. I have two of the most amazing coaches and can’t wait to see where this decision takes me!
My passion for fitness grows daily, and I hope to spend the rest of my life not only training for myself, but also helping others become their very best and be exactly who they have always wanted to be!
